• (intensive) cattle rearing
• deforestation.
A global impact of these activities, for example
• decreased carbon stored underground
• increased carbon in the atmosphere or (dissolved) in the ocean
• climate change or global warming or increase in greenhouse gases
• emissions decrease pH or increase acidity of oceans (so change
carbonate levels)
