About IIT JEE Main Examination
JEE Main is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programs like Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) and Architecture (B.Arch/B.Planning) at IITs, NITs, Institutions funded by participating State Governments and other Centrally funded Technical Institutions (CFTI). JEE Main is the important qualifying exam for JEE Advanced depending on which admission will be provided into B.E/B.Tech programs offered at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
